Went to the local hardware/lumber store yesterday for supplies for the office step stool. The cutting is done and it is time for assembly. As simple as this project is, the cutting introduced me to a new tool, a Forstner bit, required new ways of using my table saw and mitre saw to create non-90 degree cuts, and gave me further practice on those tools as well as my jigsaw and drill press. David Picciuto also introduced an interesting way of gluing, combining super glue for speed and wood glue for strength.
