The office step stool is done. I think I ended up using white wood instead of pine, so the stain did not take in places. I have to lable my wood better. I made a few mistakes with the dowel joinery and did not quite match the stain to my office, but overall the build was a success. I will try again with better wood, closer matching stain and more experience.
