All of the transplants from the hydroponics into the organic seed potting mix are doing well. Today I transplanted three tomato varieties (one each), Italian Heirloom, Black Plum and Livingston’s Paragon, to pots. Here are photos of the Black Plum, before and after transplant. I also moved one mint plant from the lights in the hydroponics system to the greenhouse attached to the shop. Tonight, outside temperatures will be below freezing, but I suspect the greenhouse will not get that cold. Will be interesting. I selected mint for the experiment because mint seems to be hardier than most.
