As I continue to write and improve my writing, I am on the lookout for tools that can improve my writing, organization and thinking. I have come across the Zettelkasten Method in a YouTube video “The FUN and EFFICIENT note-taking system I use in my PhD“. The YouTuber used the system with the software Obsidian. Like Joplin, it uses Markdown language for its files. Zettelkasten with Obsidian seems initially to me like a neural network for ideas. Joplin does not appear to have this interconnection ability. I have downloaded Obsidian and will use it alongside Joplin to better understand how they both work.
