Cutting Board

Hydroponics Seed Starting System
4/6/2022:Started a second New Kratky Hydroponics Seed Starting System in the equipment room. It has two levels, with the bottom level now planted. I bought ten gallon containers that I thought I could move outside when the plants needed to be hardened, but the containers with water and nutrients are too heavy to really move

American Robin
3/28/2022:The robins have started to visit us in the Adirondacks! A dozen or so combing the field. Not sure what they are looking for (I have not yet seen a worm on the property), but they were finding something.

Sour Pickles
3/28/2022:I put together a batch of sour pickles today, using a recipe I found in Masontops Fermenting Guide & Recipe Book by Sarah Miller of KillerPickles.com. My wife saw some kirby cucumbers at the market.

3/28/2022:For my first foray into wood that is not dimensional lumber, I chose a cutting board. I chose one of the designs in David Picciuto’s book “Make Your Own Cutting Boards“. I had a piece of maple in the shop and cut it to size. Then I used a planer for the first time. I
